Overview
The Winthrop Town Pier is located at the Public Landing Pier Complex and is the center of maritime commerce for the Town of Winthrop. The pier is the primary landing for visiting mariners, commercial fishermen, and the Winthrop Ferry. The main pier is open to the public and offers scenic views of the harbor and the Boston skyline.
Fishing
Fishing is allowed from the main pier only providing all bait and tackle are neatly kept and removed when finished. Fishing is prohibited on the lobster boat docks, ferry barge, and marina.
Cars and trucks are prohibited from driving on the pier without permission from the harbormaster.
