Winthrop Conservation JurisdictionAll lands within the wetland resource areas and their 100-foot buffer zones, areas of critical environmental concern, rare wildlife habitat, and the AE/VE flood zones are protected under the Wetlands Protection Act. This means that if your property is within any of these areas, you must apply for a permit before performing any work that may fill, dredge, or otherwise alter a wetland.
