MassDEP banned items from trash collection will not be collected curbside. Purchasing a Bulk Item Sticker for these items does not enable pick-up. Any bulk items, trash, or recycling not collected by the hauler for contamination or an item on the banned list becomes the responsibility of the homeowner/tenant.

All construction, demolition, and household renovation items are banned from collection by MassDEP.
These items cannot be collected by our contracted hauler.
These items include but are not limited to sinks, toilets, cabinets, wallboard, doors, asphalt, pavement, brick, concrete, gypsum board, cathode ray tubes, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, doors, windows, window frames, glass and metal jars/containers, lead-based batteries, rechargeable batteries, leaves, branches, trees, yard waste, recyclable paper, cardboard and paper board, single-use resin plastic round neck containers, treated and untreated wood, wood waste, including ash from fire pits/fireplaces, whole tires, all textiles, mattresses and box springs.
